Requirements For Installation And Commissioning Of Water Flow Indicator

Requirements for installation and commissioning of water flow indicator

The installation of the water flow indicator should be carried out after the pipeline pressure test and flushing are qualified. The specification and model of the water flow indicator should meet the design requirements, and the product should be inspected and qualified by the National Fire Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. The water flow indicator should be installed vertically on the horizontal pipeline, and its direction of action should be consistent with the direction of the water flow. After installation, the water flow indicator blades and diaphragms should move flexibly and reset quickly; they should not collide with the pipe wall for protection The water flow is stable to avoid water flow interference. It is advisable to maintain a straight pipe section with a distance of more than 5 times the pipe diameter before and after the installation position; there should be room for disassembly on the top of the water flow indicator.       Avoid collision during installation to avoid damaging the working parts and drifting the preset working parameters. The interfaces of the water flow indicator should be installed firmly, sealed reliably, and have no leakage under the working pressure of 1.2 MPa. For some products of the slurry type water flow indicator, the control valve should be gradually opened when the water flows to prevent the impulse of the water flowing into the pipeline from damaging the blades. For the water flow indicator with a delay function, the delay time should be adjustable within the range of 2~90s. . The debugging and testing of the water flow indicator should use the terminal water test device. This device includes the pressure gauge, the gate valve, the test water port, and the drainage pipe. The test water port diameter is the same as the nozzle. As a nozzle operation status, the connecting pipe diameter Not less than 25 mm, open the gate valve of the water test device to release the water during commissioning. When the water flow is less than or equal to 15 L/min, there should be no alarm. When the flow is ≥37.5 L/min, the alarm must be alarmed. Fluctuations should not be alarmed. In addition, the water flow indicator alarm module should be firmly fixed near the water flow indicator, and the wiring should comply with the relevant fire automatic alarm system construction acceptance specifications.
